About Brianna

Brianna Serenity, a skilled contractor and proud trans woman, runs Brianna’s Mobile Workshop LLC, a queer-owned and operated business serving Allegheny County with high-quality, inclusive home repair and renovation services. After 25 years as a paramedic, she transitioned to contracting full-time, offering everything from electrical and plumbing work to remodeling and woodworking. Dedicated to serving the LGBTQ+ community, Brianna built her business as a safe, affirming space where clients can expect fair pricing, top-tier materials, and open communication. As she expands her operations, she remains committed to providing reliable, judgment-free contractor services to those who need them most.

Community Engagement

Brianna Serenity has 25 years of past experience as a paramedic, and served as a training coordinator, supervisor, and paramedic preceptor, training new paramedics coming into the field. She was also a first aid and CPR instructor. Additionally, she ran programs for the local SADD organization, which focused on teaching prevention of drinking and driving through a prom mock vehicle crash program. After being black listed as a newly outed trans person, she fell back on entrepreneurship, and has been building her own business, Brianna's Mobile Workshop, for the past five years and before for 25 years more as a second job.

She is also a fetish model and the proud winner of the Miss Pittsburgh Leather Fetish 2025 pageant. Outside of work, she is an active participant in the BDSM community. She is a submissive and loves riding her motorcycle. As a queer and trans individual, she’s been on her transition journey for the past six years, undergoing several surgeries along the way. She’s also the owner of a support group for trans people called Western PA Transgender United, which she’s been running for six years as a Facebook page and group. She’s a very active advocate in the LGBTQ+ community.

Laura Beth Stephenson

Hi, I’m Laura! I’m 29 and originally from Alabama. My wife Aaliyah and I (along with our two spoiled cats, Pink and Rylie) moved up here in 2021 and we’re still getting used to the snow—slowly but surely.

Before joining Brianna’s Mobile Workshop, I spent almost seven years working as a first responder. I eventually decided it was time for a career change, and now I’m loving my new path as a contractor apprentice. I really enjoy learning how things are built from the ground up and seeing the full transformation of a project—there’s nothing like a good before-and-after!

Outside of work, I like playing games, spending time outdoors (when the weather cooperates), and hanging out with Aaliyah and our friends. Working for Brianna has been such a great experience—the vibe is fun, relaxed, and I feel lucky to be part of the crew!
